A new raised speed table pedestrian crossing was constructed on Great South Road at McAnnalley Street, including upgrades to footpaths, cycle lanes, and bus stop infrastructure. The safety improvements should reduce vehicle speeds along the main road and near the busy side road.

 

Pedestrians, cyclists and bus transport users will benefit in particular from the infrastructure upgrades, encouraging these transport modes. Design and construction supervision undertaken by TES. Another positive step towards ‘Vision Zero’.
